RAMALLAH, Palestine (AA) - Three Palestinians were injured Tuesday after being attacked by a group of Israeli occupiers in the town of Tayasir in the Tubas governorate of northern West Bank.

The Palestine Red Crescent Society said in a statement that it treated the injured and transferred them to a hospital for medical care.

Eyewitnesses told Anadolu that the occupiers attacked Palestinians on their land on the outskirts of Tayasir, assaulting them with stones and sticks.

The Israeli occupiers set fire to a tractor and other Palestinian property in the town, they added.

The attack comes amid a noticeable rise in attacks by Israeli occupiers across the West Bank in recent weeks.

According to the Wall and Settlement Resistance Commission, Israeli occupiers have carried out 443 attacks since the outbreak of the US-Israeli war on Iran on Feb. 28, exploiting the situation to intensify assaults on Palestinian villages and communities.

Since Oct. 8, 2023, Israeli attacks in the West Bank, including killings, demolitions, displacement, and occupier expansion, have left 1,137 Palestinians killed, around 11,700 injured, and approximately 22,000 arrested, amid international warnings over a potential Israeli occupation of the West Bank.
